Fayetteville State University officials, along with staff and cadets from Air Force ROTC Detachment 607, proudly celebrated 50 years of commissioning military officers for the United States Armed Forces during a Dining-Out event on May 4, 2024.
The ceremony honored the university’s first class of ROTC graduates, commissioned in 1974, all of whom went on to serve 20 or more years and retired with distinction from the United States Air Force.
