Several members of the Bronco Military Association attended Detachment 607's annual Dining-Out on Saturday, 25 April 2026.  Their participation included presenting two scholarship awards and two achievement awards.  Two $1,000 scholarships were presented to Joshua Armwood and Michael Menjivar.  These same cadets received the inaugural MSgt James Curtis Whitaker POC and GMC Outstanding Achievement Award, named in honor of Detachment 607's first senior noncommissioned officer, who served in the founding office in 1972.  MSgt Whitaker was in attendance to present the awards to Joshua Armwood (POC) and Michael Menjivar (GMC).
